Romina Schulz

Romina Schulz (she/her) is a Program Manager, which means she works closely with youth to support them in their paths through Beam while giving them space to find their interests, and inspirations in the projects that they collaboratively create. Romina has an MA in Arts Politics from NYU and a BFA in Fine Arts at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. Prior to joining Beam, Romina taught in many places including through Que Rico Menstruo workshops, in La Antigua, Guatemala, and in Lima, Peru. Romina is a visual artist who enjoys mixing textiles and ceramics to create installations around anti-colonial reproductive practices. If Romina were a sandwich, she would be a triple, a three layered sandwich filled with egg, mayo, tomato, and a lot of avocado. The four ingredients create a perfect balance between creamy, sweet, and sour. Why is she a triple? You tell her.
