Rose Malenfant

Rose Malenfant (she/her) is Director of Design and Programming for Co-design for Climate Justice, a collaboration with Pratt, Beam Center, and Telos Learning. In this role, Rose works across organizations to design residencies, workshops, and programs that unify artists, scientists, youth, and educators, to realize public art installations and events focused on Climate Justice. As Project Designer, she collaborates with community members, educators, and peers to design multidisciplinary STEAM projects for youth in school programs and studio based internships.
Rose is also a visual artist, curator, and public events organizer whose practice focuses on conscious consumption through textile sculpture, bio-materials, and ritual based techniques.
Rose received her BA in Visual Arts Education and Visual Art from SUNY New Paltz and continues to invest in her practice through Textile Arts Center where she's an artist in residence, Art Students League of New York, the Alternative Art School, Textile Study Group of New York, and Women Sculptor Group NYC.
